Beach - Day 3

By the third day we were starting to get the hang of it...and Madelyn starting enjoying the beach a little bit more. The weather couldn't have been more perfect when we were there (low to mid 70's & sunny).

Tyler & Jack flew the $1 Dusty Crophopper kite I had picked up at Wal Mart twice while we were there.  Who knew something so simple could provide so much entertainment!

Jack took swim lessons for 5 days a week for a month before we left for Florida.  He was obsessed with the pool & pretty much repeated the word pool continually while we were at the beach.  Towards the end of the trip he would just walk to the stairs on the beach and point to the pool until Tyler or I took him.

Madelyn also had her first swim while we there and she was kicking, splashing, laughing, and putting her face in the water like she had done it before!

The last night we went to an early fancy, family dinner at V at Seagrove & headed to Seaside for some...you guessed it...ice cream!

Jack hugging a huge ice cream cone was probably the best way we could have ended our trip...he was in love!

  1. How was V in Seagrove? It's one of the few places we haven't tried yet!

    1. Hi Caroline! It was delicious! We didn't get a babysitter so we went really early on a Sunday for dinner with the kids, but it would be perfect for a date night. Delicious food & drinks and we sat outside so great atmosphere. Since we haven't been to any of the other nice places down there I don't have much to compare it to but would recommend it & have had friends that enjoyed it, too!
