When we left Nashville it still felt like summer & we returned to a new season of fall...
It's amazing.
I've traded in my flip flops & shorts for scarves, boots, & jeans.
Living in San Antonio these last few years I feel like I haven't experienced many seasons. I remember it being really hot & then cold a few days. I don't think I wore my heavy coats last year!
One of the first things our real estate agent said about Nashville was "You'll get four seasons here." I'm a little bit scared of the winter compared to what we're used to but I will fully enjoy the fall & spring.
I can already see the trees starting to turn & I've enjoyed starting to decorate around the house.
I will miss the ripe, juicy peaches that Jack ate every morning. They were in the stores before we left for TX but they can no longer be found.
Jack has a whole bunch of new fall clothes that he's already been wearing...is it weird that when I put him in a new piece of clothing I get all happy like when I get to wear new clothes?
And there are a lot of fall activities going on around the neighborhood & in the city. It's so different having a toddler & being able to participate in many of them.

Now on the task list...to figure out a Halloween costume for Jack! Any ideas?!
I hope everyone is enjoying the start of a new season!
