Christmas Eve day we had our Christmas celebration with the Bloomer clan. We headed to Benihana's for lunch and then onto the Bloomer's house for our gift exchange and a little bit of bingo. We missed Tyler's cousins Diana and Brad who were back in Kansas City with their newly adopted little girl.
While we were at Benihana's Jack was just not himself and I could feel that he had a bit of a fever. Poor kid slept alot more than normal and was very subdued...but he did get to see some of the action during lunch before he fell asleep.
(He was very tired because he woke up in the middle of the night and literally wailed for 2 hours...like inconsolable and did not want to eat. Ty and I tried everything and I felt so helpless!)

And he's asleep...

Love my boys
Jack took a good nap during the afternoon and then we headed to the children's five o'clock service at Christ United Methodist in Plano. We have gone to this service a few times in the past even though we didn't have kids so we were excited to take Jack. All the kids take an ornament up to the front of church and put it on the tree during the service and I got a bit teary eyed seeing Tyler walk Jack up to the front.
My dad and brother were at the Cowboys game Christmas Eve day, but my mom and Nina were able to join us for church that evening and some games at the Bloomer's afterwards.
Iphone pic taken by Taylor but you can kinda see Jack & Ty
He's ready for Santa!
