After all the holiday hustle and bustle, we've been enjoying some free time and free weekends! Tyler had to work and study so many weekends the first few years that it has been a nice change of pace. I enjoy the weekends we spend here in San Antonio just relaxing and playing catch up, but we've been trying to get out and explore, too.
Here's how we have spent a few of weekends recently.
We headed to New Braunfels to eat bbq & walk Gruene
We ventured to Cedar Creek for a weekend at the lakehouse. It was so much fun to just be with Jack with little distractions and relax.
Ty smoked a delicious brisket and jack took one of his nap's in the swing in the doorway of the patio. My parents came by for a few hours and we just caught up on play and sleep.
Last weekend we headed to Austin. Tyler stayed the night and went duck hunting with Jeff Sunday morning and Jack and I went for a day trip on Saturday.
I loved getting to see two of my best friends, Hilary & Kathleen. We had lunch with Kathleen & her husband Taylor on South Congress & later headed to Zilker Park with Taylor and Jeff where we were able to meet up with BJ & Hilary.
