- We are high school sweethearts who went to rival colleges (University of Texas for me & Texas A&M for Tyler). We married on November 11, 2006 and were blessed with our first child, Jackson Lee, on May 20, 2011. Our little girl, Madelyn, was born on July 30, 2013. After living all over Texas we are on a new adventure in the great city of Nashville, TN while Tyler completes his residency at Vanderbilt. I love to blog as a way to keep our family & friends up to date as Jack & Madelyn grow. I also share my adventures of making a new house our home while I adjust to being a new stay at home mom & a wife to an ever busy physician resident in a new town.
