The timing was perfect that my birthday fell after match day. It was 3 days full of fun and chaos. I was able to celebrate with everyone in town, which hasn't happened in a while, and we even had babysitters a couple of nights to hit the town without Jack! It was a lot of eating and drinking all day.
My parents got into town on Thursday evening and the weather was perfect. We headed to Fralo's for some pizza and live music outside. When we got there we realized lots of Tyler's classmates also had the same idea and were there with their families and friends.

Friday was match day and after everyone headed home for a quick afternoon nap we met for dinner at one of Tyler and I's favorite mexican food restaurants (we have 3 or 4 in SA), Paloma Blanca. Tyler and I went out afterwards with Taylor and Jeff while Jack went home with the grandparents. We met up with our friends and I might have been forced to get on stage with the band while everyone sang happy birthday...definitely wasn't my favorite moment :)

Saturday was my 29th birthday and we all met at Magnolia Pancake House by Kirk and Peggy's for brunch and we were able to get one huge table in a semi private room for our group of 14 people and Jack. Jack got to eat pancakes and we even had some birthday cake for dessert. I am so grateful that I was able to spend my birthday with such great family! Everyone headed back to Dallas after brunch and my parents stayed for the night.

After a day at La Cantera and running some errands, my parents babysat Jack and Tyler and I went for a birthday/celebration dinner date. It was a great time for just us two to talk about the future (some major changes are occurring) and celebrate another year of life and Tyler's awesome accomplishments.
